Melissa Lukan

Melissa Lukan is an experienced human resources professional with a strong background in managing HR functions across multiple organizations. Currently serving as the Human Resources Director for the North Region at Joseph T. Ryerson & Sons since April 2013, Melissa has held various HR roles, including Human Resources Manager and Senior Human Resources Generalist, supporting a workforce of up to 1,400 employees. Prior to this, Melissa worked at Standard Heating & Air Conditioning as a Human Resource Generalist, demonstrating notable project coordination and communication skills. Earlier roles include Regional Merchandise Coordinator at Royal China and Porcelain and merchandise-related positions at Marshall Fields and Target Corporation. Melissa holds a BA in Human Resource Management from Concordia University-St. Paul and completed a certification course in HR preparation at the University of Minnesota.
