Pete Draper

Pete Draper has extensive work experience in the visual effects and animation industry. Pete is currently serving as the SVP Customer Production at Ryff since September 2022. Prior to that, they were the Co-Founder, Division Head, and Chief Technical Director at Makuta VFX from April 2010 to September 2022.

Before joining Makuta VFX, Pete worked as a freelance Visual Effects & 3D Animator at Xenomorphic where they gained over two decades of industry experience. Pete also authored training material and served as an External Examiner of visual effects courses at UK Universities.

Earlier in their career, Pete held the position of Director of Visual Effects and Animation at LIGHTWORX MEDIA LIMITED from May 2004 to April 2008. Pete also served as the Head of Media at Orchard CDG from June 2000 to June 2002, and as a Senior Artist at CBL / Vega Group from June 1997 to June 2000.
