Jonny Samuel

Jonny Samuel has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Jonny began their career as a Sales Assistant at Comet Group Plc in 2006. Jonny then worked as an Underwriter at Broker Support in 2009 before transitioning into the retail industry. At JD Williams, Jonny started as a Buying Assistant in 2009, where they provided analytical management information and introduced new product ideas. Jonny later became a Trainee Buyer and then a Junior Buyer, specializing in home furnishing products and responsible for sourcing, sales planning, and stock management. In 2014, Jonny joined N Brown Group as a Buyer, before being promoted to Senior Buyer in 2016. In this role, they focused on the Electricals category, developed strategies, and built relationships with global brands, leading to significant business growth. Most recently, Jonny joined Ryman as a Buying Manager in 2022 and quickly progressed to the position of Head of Category.

Jonny Samuel attended Durham University from 2005 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business.
