Manash Goswami

Manash Goswami has a diverse work experience in the journalism and energy industry. Manash started their career as a reporter at The Hindu Business Line in 1995 and then moved to CRISIL MarketWire in 2001. In 2004, they joined Bloomberg LP as a reporter where they covered India's biggest oil and gas companies and wrote about the country's rising demand and presence in the global oil and gas trade. Manash was also part of the core team that covered key events such as annual federal budgets and elections. In 2008, they worked as a copyeditor at Dow Jones Newswires, editing and publishing market reports and news on oil, commodities, and macroeconomic data across Asia. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Thomson Reuters as a Team Leader/Editor, managing a team of reporters in Singapore and covering the Asian energy market. Manash then joined Argus Media in 2014 as a Journalist, covering the US upstream industry and writing for their business intelligence review. Currently, since 2020, they hold the role of Vice President of Analytics at Rystad Energy.

Manash Goswami obtained a Master's degree in Sociology from Annamalai University in 1997. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from Zakir Husain Delhi College in 1994. Manash also pursued a certificate course on media management at the Singapore Institute of Management in 2008 and a certificate program focused on crude markets at the Energy Management Institute starting in 2014.
