Mark Gilks

Mark Gilks has extensive work experience in the energy industry. Mark currently holds the role of Head of Business Development at Ryze Hydrogen since 2023. Previously, they served as the Director - Key Accounts at Gasrec from 2020 to 2023, where they were responsible for the supply and delivery of renewable energy, specifically specializing in BioLNG as a road transport fuel. Mark also worked as a Council Member at the Combustion Engineering Association from 2020 to 2020. Prior to that, they held various positions at Calor Gas Ltd, including National Accounts Manager - Industrial & Automotive Solutions from 2020 to 2020 and National Accounts - Alternative Transport Fuels from 2015 to 2020. Earlier in their career, they were a Board Member at Autogas Limited from 2016 to 2018 and held multiple roles at BOC UK & Ireland, including Major Account Manager LNG from 2013 to 2015, Business Development Manager - Innovation, Hydrogen & LNG from 2011 to 2013, Business Development Manager from 2007 to 2011, and Account Manager - Bulk from 2004 to 2007. Lastly, they worked as a Product Manager/Account Manager at Chance & Hunt from 2002 to 2004.

Mark Gilks received their A Levels in Business, IT, Geography, and General Studies from Sir John Deane's College in 1998. Mark then went on to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from The Manchester Metropolitan University, graduating in 2002.
