Helen Senn

Helen Senn currently serves as the Head of Conservation and Science Programmes at The Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, where Helen has been since February 2011, also managing the RZSS WildGenes Conservation Genetics Laboratory focusing on conservation genetic and genomic research for various threatened taxa. Previously, Helen Senn contributed as a Research Scientist at the University of Edinburgh for projects including the Cairngorms National Park Red-Sika Hybridisation project. With a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, specializing in the hybridisation of Red and Sika deer, and a BSc from the University of St Andrews in Evolutionary and Environmental Biology, Helen Senn combines extensive education with practical experience in conservation genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics.
