Sonja Boenig

Sonja Boenig is currently serving as a Volontärin im Vertrieb at S. Fischer Verlag since June 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Werkstudentin für PR, Kommunikation und Marketing at Allen & Overy from November 2020 to May 2023, where responsibilities involved creating and distributing daily press reviews, preparing press releases in both German and English, collaborating on legal handbooks, and supporting the internal newsletter. Sonja also gained experience as a student assistant at Tamaris and briefly held positions in the press department and during an internship at Schöffling & Co. Verlagsbuchhandlung GmbH, as well as working in editorial focus at Karl-May-Verlag. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Kinder- und Jugendliteratur-/Buchwissenschaft from Goethe University Frankfurt and a Bachelor of Arts in Buchwissenschaft from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
