Lana Wei has a diverse work experience in various roles. Lana currently works at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. as a Project Lead for the Integrated Women's Entrepreneurship Project. Lana also had previous roles at S.U.C.C.E.S.S. as a Project Coordinator and WorkBC Self-employment Counsellor. Prior to that, Lana worked as a Business Coach for the Immigrant Women Entrepreneurship Program. Before joining S.U.C.C.E.S.S., they worked at the State Grid Corporation of China as a Global Project Specialist, where they represented the company at international conventions and received Gold Medals for the projects presented. Lana also had experience as a Marketing Specialist at Agilent Technologies, where they developed marketing strategies, oversaw campaign assets, collaborated with the sales team, and represented the company at conferences and tradeshows.
Lana Wei obtained a Master's Degree in MSc Cultural Industries and Entrepreneurship from the University of Nottingham in 2013. In 2016, they completed the China-Netherlands Cultural Management Training Program, co-organized by The Netherlands Embassy, at Beijing International Studies University. Additionally, Lana obtained several certifications, including Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, Trauma-Informed Practice (TIP) Foundations for Justice, Public Safety, and Anti-Violence Community Sectors in British Columbia, Train the Trainer, and Mental Health First Aid.
