Maria Kazakov

Maria Kazakov has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Maria is currently the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at s16vc since March 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Associate at Hogan Lovells from October 2015 to June 2022. Maria also served as a Managing Associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP from May 2012 to October 2015. Before that, they were an Associate at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP from 2008 to 2012. Maria briefly worked as a Petroleum Trainee at Simonsen Advokatfirma DA in September and October 2010.

Maria Kazakov's education history includes a Master in Laws degree from the University of Oslo (UiO) in 2010, with a focus on Petroleum Law, Maritime Law, and International Commercial Law.
