Mark Brekken, PMP

Mark Brekken, PMP has over 25 years of work experience, starting as a student in United States Air Force. Mark progressed through various management roles handling aircraft maintenance and operation, managing large teams of up to 53 members. Mark also led the weapon system sustainment process and provided direction to support 1,100 aircraft across 58 global operating locations. In their current role at S2 Analytical Solutions, LLC, Mark is the Task Order Lead & Project Manager for a 24-member contract with the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Mark is also leading a 12-member cross-functional team for a government-wide knowledge management application.

Mark Brekken, PMP received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Resources & Technology Management from Troy University from 2004 to 2019. Mark also obtained an Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic Certificate from Baker's School of Aeronautics from 1995 to 2019. In August 2019, they obtained an Airframe, Power Plant, or Repairer License from the Federal Aviation Administration and in May 2020, they obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
