Tuwanda Williams has had extensive work experience with United States Army, Combined Joint Task Force Paladin, United States Forces Korea (USFK), Microsoft, PotomacWave, and S2 Analytical Solutions, LLC. Tuwanda has worked as a Chief, Strategic Planner, Chief of Army Wargaming and Operations, Chief of Rear Area Plans, Chief of Policy and Plans and Scrum Master, Project Manager and PMO. Tuwanda has also completed an advanced 18-week technical training course with Microsoft. In their roles, they have managed budgets, planned and coordinated large scaled noncombatant evacuation operations exercises, developed strategies and plans for complex counter- improvised device operations, designed and implemented multinational coordination centers, and improved force generation reporting. Additionally, they have coordinated and synchronized Army continuity of operations and force protection efforts successfully at different levels.
Tuwanda Williams holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, which they obtained in 1995 from Georgian Court University. In 2010, they completed the Basic Strategic Arts Program at The United States Army War College. In 2013, they enrolled in the University of Maryland Global Campus and earned their Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity Policy in 2022. Along the way, they obtained several certifications, including the Microsoft Technology Associate: Security Fundamentals in 2018, the Splunk Fundamentals in 2019, and the Certified ScrumMaster and Certified Scrum Product Owner certifications in 2021.
