Alex Deland

Alex DeLand is a skilled Photonics Engineer currently working at S2 Corporation since March 2021. Prior to this role, Alex served as the Master Oscillator Room System Manager at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, contributing to the National Ignition Facility from July 2014 to February 2021. Alex also held the position of Laser Electro-Optics Technician at Akima Infrastructure Services, LLC, from March 2010 to July 2014, where responsibilities included developing electro-optic systems, managing high-priority upgrades, and maintaining 24-hour support for laser systems. Earlier experience includes serving as a Receiving Manager at Jackson Hole Compunet, focusing on computer repairs and network equipment management. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology from DeVry University, completed from 2006 to 2009, and has further education from Henley-Putnam School of Strategic Security.
