Saliya Randeniya

Saliya Randeniya is a skilled electrical and electronics engineer with extensive experience in network planning and power systems. Currently serving as a Network Planning Engineer at SA Power Networks since August 2020, Saliya focuses on power system modeling and compliance for customer connections. Previous roles include Electrical Laboratory Engineer at SLIIT (Gte.) Ltd., where responsibilities encompassed transmission level load flow studies, contingency analysis, and oversight of laboratory experiments at a solar PV plant. Saliya has also completed internships at Ceylon Electricity Board and Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, gaining hands-on experience in power generation and maintenance. Saliya holds a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours from SLIIT and has achieved finalist status with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
