Johan Van Rooyen is an experienced professional in the broadcasting industry, currently serving as General Manager Strategy for Radio at SABC since February 2013, overseeing 18 radio stations. Johan has held various positions at the South African Broadcasting Corporation, including acting GM for Commercial Radio since November 2010 and multiple roles related to new media and market intelligence from 2004 to June 2012, focusing on research projects and data analysis for major SABC commercial radio stations. Johan holds a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from Damelin and a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Operations Research from North-West University.
