Rachel Yap

Rachel Yap is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and business planning. Currently serving as Senior Controller at SABIC Gulf Coast Growth Ventures since April 2020, Rachel leads critical financial operations and decision support for the Polyethylene and Glycol Business Units. Previous roles include Transformation Finance Lead at Weatherford, where Rachel supported a $3 billion external spend initiative, and Global Finance Manager at Shell, overseeing a global finance team and managing substantial capital projects. Rachel's career also includes significant contributions as Project Finance Manager, Management Consultant, Internal Auditor at Proton Holdings Berhad, and Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young. Rachel holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance from Monash University and is pursuing an Executive Development Program at the University of Malaya.
