Venkatakrishnan Umamaheswaran

Venkatakrishnan Umamaheswaran has extensive experience in the automotive marketing and regulatory sectors, currently serving as Director of Global Automotive Marketing and Director of Global Regulatory & Sustainability at SABIC since June 2007. Prior roles at SABIC include Director of Automotive Marketing and Automotive Director for India. Earlier, Venkatakrishnan held positions at Sabic Innovative Plastics as Automotive Director and at GE Plastics as Market Director. Venkatakrishnan began a career in the automotive sector as a Sales Engineer for Parts at GMMCO Ltd. Educational background includes a Master’s degree in Plastics from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
