Katie Adams

Katie Adams is Senior Director for Safal Partners’ U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) national industry intermediary contract to expand apprenticeship in cybersecurity and the tech industry. She is a USDOL-recognized subject matter expert (SME) in apprenticeship and workforce development. Previously, Katie provided workforce and marketing SME and technical assistance on several USDOL and National Science Foundation contracts and grants over 11 years, advancing adult and youth apprenticeship while building industry-aligned academic certificate and degree-linked programs to meet critical occupational needs across several sectors. She has written and implemented over $50 million in federal contract and grant proposals focused on apprenticeship, work-based learning, and workforce development. She began her career at Fannie Mae, the world’s largest non-bank financial services company, where she last served as Director of Regional Communications. Katie is a graduate of the College of William & Mary and resides outside of Washington, D.C.
