Asha Panyako

Asha Panyako is a seasoned professional in the field of technology and business intelligence, currently serving as the Tech Lead for Business Intelligence Products Development at Safaricom PLC since November 2016. Asha also holds the roles of Global Shaper and Curator at the Nairobi Hub of the Global Shapers Community, where contributions are made as an Impact Officer. In addition, Asha leads programs at CodeYetu, a community organization dedicated to teaching coding to children from underserved communities. Asha participated as an Emerging Leader in the TechWomen program, which included an internship at Intel in Silicon Valley, focusing on big data, analytics, machine learning, and AI. Asha's educational background includes an MSc in Computational Intelligence and Machine Learning from the University of Nairobi and a Computer Science degree from Karatina University.
