Abbey Maedgen

Abbey Maedgen is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education and program coordination, currently serving as the Sexual Assault Training Program and Compliance Coordinator at The SAFE Alliance since November 2019. Previously, Abbey held the position of Program Coordinator at the Texas International Education Consortium from March 2019 to October 2019 and worked as an ESL Teacher at The Texas Intensive English Program from October 2013 to February 2019. With a solid background in teaching intensive English, developing curricula, and advising international students, Abbey's career spans multiple roles in various educational institutions, including ESL instruction and tutoring. Abbey holds a Master of Education in International Literacy from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor's degree in English Literature from The University of Texas at Austin.
