Michael Gettel

Michael Gettel has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Michael is currently the Director of Engineering at Safe Fleet, a position they began in October 2023. Prior to this, Michael owned G-Grills, where they developed and launched a portable adjustable campfire grill. Michael also designed the product using SolidWorks and sourced all components locally. From 2020 to 2023, Michael worked as the Director of Engineering at Morbark, LLC. Before that, they served as the Engineering Manager at Morbark from 2019 to 2020. Michael also has experience at Adrian Steel, where they held multiple roles, including Coordinator and Lead Recruiter, Program Manager, Product Design Engineer, Sales Engineer, and Customer Application Engineer. Michael played a crucial role in developing and expanding the intern and co-op program for engineering at Adrian Steel and led the development of new cargo management products. Michael joined Adrian Steel in 2005.

Michael Gettel earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Michigan Technological University. Michael also pursued a partial MBA at Davenport University, and later returned to Michigan Technological University to complete a second Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology.
