Tom Nyberg

Tom Nyberg has extensive experience in product management and leadership roles. Tom currently serves as the Vice President of Product Management at Safe Fleet, where they are responsible for overseeing product management for passenger transportation, law enforcement, and waste & recycling solutions. Prior to this, Tom held the position of Regional Vice President, Business Development at Silo AI, where they helped establish the company's presence in Vancouver and North America. Tom has also worked at companies like Finning International and Samsung Electronics, where they held various senior leadership positions. Tom has a strong background in technology and has successfully led teams in developing and launching products in areas such as AI, cloud software, and smart devices. In addition to their corporate roles, they have also served as a Board Member at Innovate BC and as the Honorary Consul of Finland in Vancouver.

Tom Nyberg earned their M.Sc. degree in Supply Chain Management from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan from 1993 to 1997. Before that, they attended Tampereen Lyseon Lukio from 1988 to 1992 for their high school education. Additionally, they briefly studied at Konrad Heresbach Gymnasium from 1989 to 1990.
