Shawneequa Bigelow

Shawneequa Bigelow serves as the Rapid Rehousing Program Manager at Safe Harbor, where responsibilities include managing a HUD grant to support survivors of domestic violence and advocating for equitable housing policies. With a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Shawneequa has contributed five years to the DEI Council and collaborates with various stakeholders to enhance support for the homeless population. In addition to managing casework and training sessions, Shawneequa hosts "The Aspiring Black Social Worker" podcast and has interned with Nika White Consulting, focusing on DEI strategies and social justice. Shawneequa holds a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Arts in Experimental Psychology from the same institution. Previous experience includes roles in customer service and sales management, emphasizing relationship building and team leadership.
