Sofía Arimany

Sofía Arimany is a professional with extensive experience in global affairs and technology policy, currently serving as the Director of Global Affairs at Duco since September 2019. Previous roles at Duco include Senior Manager and Manager in Technology Policy, as well as an Associate. In addition to current responsibilities at Duco, Sofía holds several positions in various organizations, including Guild Member at NFX, Board Member at Safe Passage/Camino Seguro and Fundación Desarrolla Guatemala (FUNDEGUA), and Limited Partner at Nido Ventures. Sofía also contributes as a Mentor for Girl Security and worked as a PR Consultant for FUNDEGUA from January 2017 to December 2020. Earlier experience includes a role as Support Staff at Noise Pop Industries and Arts Intensive Program Coordinator at Stanford University, where Sofía also served as a Research Assistant for Stanford SPARQ. Sofía Arimany earned a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Stanford University and completed earlier education at Universitat de Barcelona and the American School of Guatemala.
