Steven Schwartz

Steven Schwartz is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in cyber insurance strategy and risk quantification. Currently serving as Vice President of Insurance Strategy & Underwriting at Safe Security since September 2021, Steven is focused on developing API-based cyber insurance solutions. Prior roles include co-founding Periculus, where Steven leveraged risk-based approaches to underwrite cyber insurance for Mastercard’s merchant ecosystem, and serving as Vice President of Strategy & Insurance Practice at Cytegic, which was acquired by Mastercard in 2020. Steven's advisory contributions extend to educational institutions such as Pace University and Rutgers University, while also founding Global Cyber Consultants to bridge cybersecurity with traditional risk management. Steven holds an MBA in Economics and Finance from Clarkson University and a B.S. in Accounting from Siena College.
