John Cheatham

John Cheatham is a seasoned professional in the building and construction industry with extensive experience in various roles. Since March 2013, John has served as the Regional Operations Manager and Chief Building Official at SAFEbuilt. Additionally, John holds the position of Immediate Past President for the Ohio Building Officials Association, which has approximately 1,300 members, since 2010. Previous roles include Residential Building Official for the Medina County Commissioners from April 2000 to April 2013, Apprenticeship Instructor for Associated Builders & Contractors from 2002 to 2011, Building Inspector for the City of Massillon from 1998 to 2000, and Commercial/Residential Builder from 1987 to 1998 at John Cheatham - Builder.
