Iara Conrado

Iara Conrado is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in various roles across the maritime and shipping sectors. Currently serving as Legal Counsel and Contracts Manager at SafeKick since January 2013, Iara also fulfills the role of Legal Counsel for EM Funding. Previous positions include Buyer (Chartering) at Saipem, where responsibilities involved drafting vessel chartering contracts, and Shipping Clerk at Evergreen Shipping Agency (UK) Ltd, focusing on logistics and compliance. Iara began their legal career as an In-house Lawyer at Efacec do Brasil LTDA, specializing in Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) international contracts. Iara holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Maritime Law from Lund University and two bachelor's degrees from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro and Estácio, along with a master's degree in Private Law from UGF.
