Michael Ruskell, ARM, serves as the Business Development Leader for the Southeast and National Practice Leader for Cyber Risk at Safety National since August 2016. In this role, Michael is responsible for implementing and executing marketing strategies, focusing on business development, relationship management, and brand enhancement within excess workers' compensation and large casualty segments. Prior to Safety National, Michael held various marketing positions at Berkshire Hathaway Homestate Companies from June 2013 to August 2016, where responsibilities included business development and brand enhancement in commercial auto and workers' compensation insurance. Michael's earlier experience includes roles as a Site Manager at the University of Georgia and internships with Hewlett-Packard and the Seattle Seahawks. Michael holds multiple degrees, including a B.B.A. in Marketing and Real Estate, as well as a Bachelor of Journalism in Advertising from the University of Georgia.
