David Graunke

David Graunke is a skilled technology entrepreneur and software engineer with extensive experience in trust and safety automation, risk engineering, and software development. As the Founder of SafetyKit, Graunke is focused on automating trust and safety reviews using language models, building on prior experience at Stripe, where significant contributions included leading teams for fraud, credit, compliance, and content review operations, as well as developing a content review rules engine and initiating a generative AI program. Earlier roles include partnership at Thomas Street, where Graunke collaborated with designers and developers to create software solutions, as well as founding GetCounting to assist with legal financial reporting. Graunke's career also encompasses roles in legal administration and environmental engineering, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Humanities from Seattle University.
