Nate Weersing

Nate Weersing has a diverse range of work experience, starting with their current role as Head of Economics at Saffron Walden County High School since July 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Teacher of Economics & Business at the same school from August 2019 to July 2020.

Before transitioning into the education field, Nate held various leadership roles in the technology and consulting industry. Nate served as the MD of United Kingdom at SenecaGlobal, Inc. from March 2018 to July 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director at Medallia, where they specialized in customer experience management for insurance, telco, automotive, and retail companies from April 2016 to February 2018.

Nate also has experience as the VP of Global Managed Services at Axiom from September 2014 to April 2016 and as the Vice President Sales, International at ServiceSource from January 2013 to April 2014. Nate played a key role in helping ServiceSource grow from a start-up to a profitable organization during their tenure.

Earlier in their career, Nate worked as the Director of Outside Sales at SEI LLC, where they oversaw sales operations in both the United States and Europe. Nate also co-founded and served as the CEO of Westbound Consulting, a successful offshore software development company that was eventually sold to a venture capitalist.

Nate's career began as an Executive Consultant at Peterson Consulting, where they focused on management consulting for the insurance industry. Their successful engagements led to two promotions before they left to start Westbound Consulting.

Nate Weersing completed their Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business, from 1990 to 1994. Additionally, they obtained certification as an OCEM Certified professional from Medallia in September 2016.
