Frans Erkelens

Frans Erkelens is an experienced engineering professional, currently serving as the Director of Design Engineering at Safran since December 2018 and at Zodiac Aerospace since November 2010. In these roles, Frans oversees design standards, engineering manuals, and standardization while facilitating communication among approximately 1,150 engineers. Previous experience includes positions as Business Consultant at QUICK BLADE INC, General Manager at Pacific Metals Group, Operations Manager at Aeroworks, and Engineering Manager at C&D Zodiac. Notably, Frans has managed engineering departments for regional jet interiors at C&D Zodiac and has a strong background in various engineering and managerial capacities across multiple aerospace projects. Frans holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from PBNA Technische School.
