Ryan Watson

Ryan Watson is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in mechanical design and performance dynamics. Currently serving as a Senior Performance & Dynamics Engineer at Safran since June 2024, Ryan previously held the position of Principal Engineer at MBDA from July 2019 to May 2024. Prior to this, Ryan worked at Babcock International Group in various engineering roles focused on the design of hydraulic systems and mechanical mechanisms for submarines from June 2013 to July 2019. Ryan's career also includes a role as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Pennant Training Systems LTD, contributing to the lynx wildcat helicopter simulated training programme, and as a Research and Development Engineer at NEOPERL, Inc., specializing in pressure compensating flow regulators. Ryan holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of the West of England and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the University of Exeter.
