Wael Bitar

Wael Bitar, MBA, has extensive experience in the banking and finance sector, currently serving as Chief of Treasury & Investment at Safwa Islamic Bank since March 2016, where supervision of Treasury and Investment activities has led to consistent outstanding performance. Prior to this role, Wael held the position of Head of Financial Institutions at Jordan Dubai Islamic Bank, successfully exceeding revenue targets. Additional experience includes leadership roles at Capital Bank of Jordan, Bank ABC, and Arab Bank, contributing to significant financial evaluations, investment management, and credit risk assessments. Wael Bitar holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Jordan and a BA in Economics & Finance from Yarmouk University.
