Janne Aagaard

Janne Aagaard is an accomplished author and podcast host with extensive experience in communication and journalism. Currently, Janne serves as an author at Gyldendal, writing a non-fiction book titled "Gudrun and the White Cut" that examines lobotomy procedures in Denmark from 1943 to 1983. Additionally, Janne hosts the "Crime and Punishment" podcast in collaboration with Lone Theils and the forensic science podcast "Loss and Misfortunes" with a focus on criminology. As the CEO and writer at Meow Production, Janne has developed over ten true crime podcast series and authored more than 120 scripts. Previously, Janne held positions as a podcast host and communication head at various organizations, taught courses in communication at universities, and managed communication strategies for significant non-governmental organizations. Janne holds a master's degree in Journalism and Communication from The University of Queensland and a journalism degree from Danmarks Medie- og Journalisthøjskole.
