Cecilia Forsberg

Cecilia Forsberg has worked in the medical laboratory field since 1996. Cecilia began their career at Pharmacia & Upjohn as a Laboratory Engineer, working with mice in non-acute animal experimentation and organ dissections. In 1997, they moved to Active Biotech as a Research Engineer and Laboratory Engineer, working with molecular biology methods such as cloning, PCR, RNA and DNA extractions, cDNA preparations, quantitative real-time RT-PCR (qPCR), and protein expression. Cecilia then moved to Alligator Bioscience AB in 2004, where they served as a Laboratory Engineer and Associate Scientist, working mainly with Molecular Biology, Protein Expression, and Protein purification. In 2012, Cecilia Forsberg joined Lund University as a Research Engineer and Research engineer. Most recently, they have been working as a Medical Laboratory Analyst at SAGA Diagnostics AB since 2020.

Cecilia Forsberg attended Spyken, gymnasium from 1988 to 1991, studying the Naturvetenskaplig linje med biologisk inriktning. Cecilia then went on to Lund University, where they completed their M.Sc. in Molecular Biology from 1991 to 1996.
