Shawn Ferguson

Shawn Ferguson is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in broadcasting and communications. Currently serving as Chief Engineer at Saga Communications since February 2021, Shawn is responsible for ensuring the on-air operation of two top-performing radio stations in the Norfolk market while maintaining compliance with FCC regulations. Prior to this role, Shawn worked at Entercom from March 2013 to February 2021 as a Broadcast Engineer and IT Manager, contributing to the operational integrity of four radio stations and addressing technical emergencies. Shawn's career began with the U.S. Coast Guard, where from December 1991 to January 2012, Shawn served as an Electronics Technician, specializing in military communications and navigation equipment. Shawn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from the University of Phoenix, earned between 2011 and 2015.
