Svetlana Shitina

Svetlana Shitina has extensive experience in graphic design and creative roles. Svetlana currently works as a Creative Director at SAGE Dining Services, where they excel in designing digital and print materials. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Graphic Designer at Chesapeake Fine Food Group, collaborating with various teams to create impactful in-house materials and leading email campaigns. Svetlana also served as a Design Principal at Total Image Graphics, where they contributed to client ideation and created marketing collateral. Additionally, they have worked as a freelance graphic designer, creating brand identities for various businesses. Svetlana began their career as a Jr. Designer at Gable, focusing on signage design. Svetlana also has experience in administrative roles, including as a Payroll & Billing Specialist at HomeCentris Healthcare, LLC and as an Office Administrator at Dr. Pokov's Polyclinic. As a volunteer designer for the charitable organization "Apelsin," they played a key role in increasing the organization's recognition through marketing collateral and branding identity projects.

Svetlana Shitina obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Aided Design from Saint Petersburg State University of Culture and Arts, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In 2017, they attended School of Motion and received a Certification in Graphic Design. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications outside of their formal education, including "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" and "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" from Google in December 2022, "Visual Elements of User Interface Design" from California Institute of the Arts in November 2018, "Graphic Design Careers: First Steps" from LinkedIn in October 2017, and "Design Bootcamp" from School of Motion in June 2017.
