Athena MacMillan

Athena Macmillan is a marketing writer at Sage Goddess, a position held since March 2022. Prior to this role, Athena accumulated extensive experience at the University of Otago from May 2018 to May 2023, serving as an academic tutor in anthropology, specifically for the course ANTH103 Anthropology, Culture & Society, as well as in Population Health for the Medical School. Additionally, Athena worked as a research assistant in both the Department of Preventative and Social Medicine and the Anatomy Department, focusing on ethnographic research related to perceptions of cadaveric material in learning anatomy. Athena holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Bioethics and Health Law and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Anthropology, both earned from the University of Otago.
