Tom Shanahan

Tom Shanahan has a diverse work experience in the hospitality and healthcare industries. Tom is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Sage Health since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Senior Director of Operations for The Oncology Institute of Hope and Innovation from 2020 to 2022. From 2017 to 2020, Tom was the Managing Director of New Market Operations at ChenMed. Tom gained experience as the Director of Operations for JenCare Neighborhood Medical Centers from 2013 to 2017, overseeing the operation of five medical facilities in Atlanta. Tom also held General Manager positions at Mainsail Suites Hotel & Conference Center, Sheraton Tampa Riverwalk, and Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport from 2011 to 2013, 2010 to 2011, and 1999 to 2008 respectively. Tom started their career in 1978 with Marriott International, Inc, where they worked in various cities and states in operations, including opening hotels in different locations.

Tom Shanahan attended Indiana State University from 1975 to 1978, where they pursued a degree in Journalism and Marketing. Tom later transferred to Florida International University in 1978 and completed their senior year, obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management in 1979.
