Tim O'Brien has extensive work experience in the business services sector. From 2019 to present, they have been employed by Sage Oak Charter Schools, where they have served as Director, Business Services, CFO; Director, Business Services; Assistant Director, Business Services; and Lead Coordinator, Business Services. From 2016 to 2019, they were employed by Mansfield Energy Corp as Operations Supervisor, where their responsibilities included managing a dispersed team of nine and facilitating the delivery of 500 million gallons of fuel. From 2012 to 2016, they were employed by Caseworx as Purchasing Manager, where they championed 30+ Kaizan projects and negotiated price savings ranging from 2% to 8% on materials. From 2005 to 2012, they were employed by Five Ten as V.P., General Manager, CFO, where they managed P&L and grew sales from $5M to $22M. From 1998 to 2005, they were employed by Five Ten in various roles, including Product Manager, Inventory Analyst / Planner / Buyer, and Customer Service and Fulfillment Associate.

Tim O'Brien has an extensive education history. Tim earned a MBA in Operations and Finance from the University of Notre Dame in 2005. Tim also holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Redlands and a CPIM in Inventory Management from the University of California, Riverside. Tim is currently working towards a Certified CBO from the California Association of School Business Officials (CASBO), which they are expected to complete in 2022.
