Amrita Rishi

Amrita Rishi has a strong background in project management and research coordination. Amrita is currently employed as a Senior Project Manager at Sage Therapeutics since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Applied Molecular Transport from September 2020 to May 2022 as a Project Manager, where they were responsible for managing four pipeline programs and leading cross-functional teams. Amrita also identified process gaps and implemented solutions to streamline research operations.

Before that, Amrita worked at 4D Molecular Therapeutics from September 2018 to September 2020. Amrita initially started as a Project Coordinator, managing preclinical activities for ophthalmology programs and maintaining collaborations. Amrita then transitioned to the role of Research Associate, where they assisted in molecular biology experiments and tissue culture maintenance for gene therapy products.

Earlier in their career, Amrita had internships at Ab Studio Inc. from March 2017 to September 2017 and Distributed Bio Inc. from June 2016 to August 2016.

Amrita Rishi completed their education with a Professional Science Master's degree in Biotechnology from the University of San Francisco in 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Medical Biochemistry from Manipal Academy of Higher Education, and a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Microbiology from Osmania University. In addition to their academic qualifications, they hold certifications including Project Management Professional (PMP) obtained in October 2022, and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) obtained in July 2019 from the Project Management Institute.
