Vice President, Market Access And Patient Support Services at Sage Therapeutics

Kevin Kendall has extensive work experience in the field of market access and account management. Kevin began their career at GE Capital Mortgage Services as a Financial Analyst in 1997. From 1998 to 2000, they worked as a Senior Consultant at PwC.

In 2000, Kendall joined Schering as a Senior Manager, Contracts and Pricing, where they were responsible for managing contracts and pricing strategies. Kevin then served as the National Account Manager from 2003 to 2006 and later as the National Director of GPO and Health System Accounts from 2006 to 2010. In this role, they led a team of Account Managers and was responsible for negotiating, implementing, and monitoring GPO and hospital contracts.

Kendall joined Merck in 2010 as the Director of GPO & National Health System Accounts. Kevin managed national GPOs, developed hospital contracting strategies, and led the account management team for the State Department of Corrections segment.

From 2013 to 2018, Kendall worked at Novartis, first as the Senior Director of Institutional Account Management and then as the Executive Director of National Accounts, Patient Access and Health Policy. In these roles, they led national account management teams for various healthcare channels, including national health plans, PBMs, GPOs, and federal markets.

Currently, Kendall serves as the Vice President of Market Access Field and Field Sales at Sage Therapeutics. Kevin leads the Market Access Field organization and the National Field Sales Team, driving demand for ZULRESSO, a product for Post Partum Depression. Their previous role at Sage Therapeutics was as the Vice President of Market Access, Payer, and Institutional Account Management, where they oversaw all account management functions.

Kevin Kendall attended Bucknell University from 1992 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics and Finance. Kevin later pursued further education by attending Seton Hall University from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Master's degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management.
