Gary Buttrey

Gary Buttrey is a Design Engineer at SageRider, Inc. since May 2017, specializing in engineering drawing editing and tool assembly. Prior to this role, Gary operated as a self-employed design engineer for oil well service tools, where extensive experience with AutoCAD facilitated the start-to-finish design process and collaboration with machine shops, while also leading to the invention of multiple innovative tools. Gary's career began in the Navy as a Navigation Electronics Technician, gaining substantial technical skills and experience in electronics and maintenance. Educationally, Gary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Tyler, along with an Associate of Science in Engineering Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Psychology from Kaplan University and Houston Community College, respectively.
