Jesus Daniel Puerto

Jesus Daniel Puerto is an experienced community engagement professional with a strong focus on LGBTQ+ advocacy and support. Currently serving as the Manager of Outreach and Community Engagement at SAGE since March 2017, Jesus Daniel leads efforts to connect LGBT elders across New York City with essential services. Previously, Jesus Daniel worked as a Community Outreach Coordinator for SAGE, developing outreach strategies specifically for LGBT older adults in the Bronx and Harlem. Additionally, Jesus Daniel founded and volunteers at Love Wins NYC Food Pantry, which supports Queens residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior roles include positions at Make the Road NY, where Jesus Daniel developed worker cooperatives, provided ESL career coaching, and organized initiatives for LGBTQ justice.
