Katharine Grimmer

Katharine Grimmer, MBA has extensive experience in the medical and pharmaceutical industry. Katharine began their career in 1996 as a Clinical Trial Associate and Oncology Research Assistant at Genentech. In 2006, they moved to Elan Pharmaceuticals as a CTM. The following year, they joined Exelixis as a Clinical Operations Specialist. In 2008, they returned to Genentech, this time as a Clinical Operations Specialist. In 2010, they moved to Gilead Sciences as a Senior Program Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing the execution of a hepatitis program consisting of phase 2 through 4 hepatitis B and C clinical studies. In 2014, they joined 3-V Biosciences as Clinical Operations. In 2016, they founded Lotus Rx, a therapeutic shampoo and conditioner created to heal inflammatory scalp conditions and enhance hair growth. Finally, in 2019, they joined Sagimet Biosciences as Executive Director and Head of Clinical Operations.

Katharine Grimmer holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology, General from the University of California, Davis. Katharine then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Golden Gate University in 2010-2012.
