James McGinnis

James McGinnis is an experienced professional in the construction and surveying fields, currently serving as the Lead GPS Coordinator and UAS pilot at Saiia Construction Company LLC since January 2016. Responsibilities include managing GPS and machine control systems, building 3D models, conducting drone flights, and training operators on grade control systems. Prior to this role, James worked as Survey Party Chief at Luker and Company, LL, conducting various types of surveys and managing survey crews. James also served as Head of Surveying at R.E. Grills Construction, focusing on construction layout and earthwork calculations. James's career began in the US Army as a Military Police officer from August 1993 to August 2001. James also studied at Jefferson State Community College.
