Francis Poulin

Francis Poulin is a seasoned biochemistry professional with extensive experience in analytical sciences and development of RNA therapeutics. Currently serving as Vice President of Analytical Sciences at Sail Biomedicines since 2021, Francis leads a team responsible for Analytical Development, Quality Control, and Research Analytics. Previous roles include Vice President of Analytical Development at Sail Biomedicines, Senior Director at Lyell Immunopharma, where oversight included Analytical Development for cell-based immunotherapy products, and various positions at Sanofi, focusing on bioassays and CMC development for biologics. Earlier career phases involved significant contributions to Genzyme and research institutions, including postdoctoral roles at the HHMI and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Francis holds a PhD in Biochemistry from McGill University and a BS in Biochemistry from Université de Montréal.
