Leon I. Abbey, MA, LPC, has extensive experience in mental health and education, currently serving as a Mental Health Clinician at Saint Anthony Hospital since September 2019. Previous roles include Donor Relations Specialist at Moody Bible Institute, Substitute Teacher with Chicago Public Schools, and Mental Health Counseling Intern at Moody Bible Institute. Earlier in the career, Leon worked as a Juvenile Justice Specialist at the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice and as a Life Skills Educator at Lawrence Hall. Leon holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Moody Bible Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Sciences from Northern Illinois University.
