Shelly Booker

Shelly Booker is a seasoned healthcare recruiter with a strong background in talent acquisition and human resources. Currently serving as a Senior Healthcare Recruiter at Saint Anthony Hospital since March 2023, Shelly has previously held the position of Director of Talent Acquisition at The Art Institute of Chicago from December 2000 to February 2022, where leadership, coaching, and the introduction of a marketing approach for talent attraction were key responsibilities. Earlier, Shelly worked at the University of Illinois at Chicago in various roles, culminating in Personnel Officer III, and focused on implementing HR programs encompassing talent acquisition, employment processing, and employee relations. Shelly holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Illinois State University, obtained in 1985.
