Mike Angelidis, MD, CPE, SFHM has a substantial work experience history. Mike started their career in 2007 as a Hospitalist at Saint Francis Health System. In 2008, they joined Encompass Health as a Hospitalist, where they worked until 2012. Returning to Saint Francis Health System in 2012, Dr. Angelidis took on various roles, including Hospitalist at Warren Clinic, Lead Hospitalist at Warren Clinic, Chief of Internal Medicine, and ultimately System Medical Director. In their most recent role, they oversee the entire hospitalist program across 5 campuses while maintaining a part-time clinical practice. Their responsibilities include managing department operations, financials, quality metrics, and improvement initiatives. Dr. Angelidis is also in charge of provider credentialing for 9 specialties and coordinates interdepartmental consults.
Mike Angelidis, MD, CPE, SFHM completed their medical education at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, earning a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in Internal Medicine from 2000 to 2004. Prior to that, they attended Oklahoma City University from 1994 to 1998, where they studied Biology (General). In addition to their education, they have obtained several certifications including Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine from the Society of Hospital Medicine in 2023, Certified Physician Executive (CPE) from the American Academy of Physician Leaders in 2022, Fellow in Hospital Medicine from the Society of Hospital Medicine in 2022, and Internal Medicine certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in 2017. Mike also holds a certification in Internal Medicine with a focus on Hospital Based Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine, obtained in 2007.
