Felipe Andres Diaz Vargas is an Integrated Engineering student at The University of British Columbia, set to graduate in May 2025, with a coordinated international exchange in Mechanical Engineering planned at the University of Sydney from July to November 2024. Felipe has gained diverse engineering experience through roles such as Development Engineering Co-Op at Miru, where safety upgrades and innovative fabrication methods were explored, and management of a $150,000 research grant was undertaken. As the 3D Printing Shop Manager at UBC Engineering, Felipe overseen rapid prototyping processes and ensured operational efficiency of 3D printers. Additionally, as a Project Control Engineer with Ledcor on the Trans Mountain Expansion Pipeline, Felipe contributed to comprehensive reporting and change management for a $1.2 billion project. Academic preparation includes an International Baccalaureate Diploma from The English School in Bogota.
